A vintage British agricultural instructional sign produced by R A Lister and Co. Ltd of Dursley, Gloucestershire. The rectangular sign is constructed from sheet steel and features a cream-coloured enamel face with black printed text and a line-art diagram. The Lister logo in its characteristic script is displayed at the top left, alongside the title TAKE PUT BALE HANDLER. The sign includes ten numbered points detailing operational instructions and safety precautions, such as KEEP NUTS AND BOLTS TIGHT and MAXIMUM LOAD – 12 BALES PER HANDLER. A central diagram illustrates the correct orientation for loading bales. Six integral mounting tabs are located along the edges for attachment to machinery. The reverse side retains remnants of original blue paint.
