A mid-20th-century mechanical mantel clock of tambour or Napoleonic hat form, attributed to the German maker Haller. The case is constructed from dark-stained oak with a curved arch top, featuring carved foliate motifs to the lower corners and a row of beaded moulding along the base. The circular silvered dial displays black Arabic numerals, a peripheral minute track, and ornate darkened metal hands. Three winding apertures are present on the dial, indicating a movement with quarter-striking Westminster chimes. A small triangular mark is visible below the 6 o’clock position. The clock is supported on four low block feet. No manufacturer’s mark is visible on the dial face.
Width: 30 cm, Height: 24 cm.
