The object is modelled as the character Mr Punch from traditional puppet theatre, featuring his characteristic hooked nose, prominent chin, and ruff collar. The heavy cast base acts as the anvil, while the hinged lever handle is formed as the figure’s arms, providing the crushing mechanism. The item is finished with a dark, naturally oxidised brown patina. A circular aperture is located at the top of the head. No maker’s marks or registration numbers are visible.
