The set comprises a black 0-4-0 steam locomotive featuring the number 7321 on the cab sides, a red open-top goods wagon, and a yellow Shell fuel tanker wagon with printed branding and logo. The set also includes a group of curved black plastic track sections. The locomotive is fitted with a metal clockwork wind-up mechanism, with the remainder of the set featuring plastic construction. The items are contained within the original red and yellow cardboard box which includes a white moulded plastic interior tray. Printed marks on the box include Hornby Railways Clockwork Train Set and R.500 Clockwork Goods Set.
