A mid-century modern decorative vase crafted from transparent amber glass using the swung glass technique. The piece features a slender, elongated body that tapers towards a heavily weighted base. The lower section of the vase is decorated with vertical moulded fluting or ribbing. The top terminates in a distinctive three-petal scalloped rim, an effect achieved by swinging the hot glass during the manufacturing process. While markings are present on the underside of the base, they are not clearly legible. The form and style are highly characteristic of mid-20th-century American art glass manufacturers such as Viking Glass, specifically the Epic line, or L.E. Smith.
