A large-scale die-cast model of a classic AEC Routemaster double-decker bus, manufactured by Sun Star. The model is finished in traditional London Transport red livery and represents fleet number RM 870 with the registration WLT 870. Official vehicle records identify the original full-scale bus as a 1961 Leyland AEC. The model is configured for route 207 to Uxbridge, via Hayes End, Southall, Ealing, and Acton. It features authentic period advertising, including a You can do with a Lucozade poster on the nearside and a Face the future with PEARL assurance poster on the offside. The front corners display Associated Rediffusion Television advertisements. The model is constructed from die-cast metal with plastic interior detailing and features rolling wheels. The underside is clearly embossed with the Sun Star logo, 1:24, ROUTEMASTER, and MADE IN CHINA.
