A pair of early 20th-century plant stands or torchères, each featuring distinct decorative triple supports. One stand incorporates bobbin-turned legs, while the other features barley-twist legs. Both stands are constructed from a stained hardwood finished in a dark mahogany tone. Each piece consists of a circular top with a moulded edge and a matching circular lower tier, terminating in three out-swept tripod feet. The design is characteristic of the Edwardian revivalist style, utilizing 17th and 18th-century English furniture motifs. No maker’s marks or labels are visible.
