A large four-light porcelain candelabrum of Rococo Revival design, featuring a central columnar stem encrusted with hand-modelled porcelain flowers. The base is modelled with a figural group depicting a reclining semi-nude classical female figure and a winged putto. Three scrolling branches with applied floral decoration support flower-head sconces, surrounding a central vertical light. The piece is finished with hand-painted floral sprigs on the female figure’s drapery and gilt highlights to the scrollwork. An underglaze blue mark in the form of crossed swords is present on the underside of the base.
