A vintage gents Sekonda mechanical alarm wristwatch, manufactured in the USSR for the export market. The timepiece features a circular black dial with gold-tone baton indices and an inner 24-hour track marked 13 through 24. A secondary alarm hand with a triangular pointer is present alongside the central hour, minute, and second hands. The dial is signed SEKONDA at the nine o’clock position, 18 JEWELS centrally, and USSR at the bottom edge. The watch is powered by a manual wind mechanical alarm movement, likely the Poljot 2612.1 calibre, operated via two fluted crowns at the two and four o’clock positions. The case is constructed from gold-plated base metal and is fitted with a gold-plated jubilee-style metal bracelet featuring a folding clasp.
