An Edwardian sterling silver mounted oval photograph frame of plain, polished form. The silver mount is secured to an oak wooden backing with a matching strut stand. The silver is struck on the side edge with a full set of English hallmarks, including the makers mark S, B, amp, S for S. Blanckensee and Son Ltd, the lion passant for sterling silver, the anchor symbol for the Birmingham Assay Office, and the lowercase date letter l for 1910. The central oval aperture currently contains a black and white insert.
