Buyer's Premium:

A collection of hand-painted ceramic figurines, highly characteristic of the M.I. Hummel designs produced by the Goebel Porzellanfabrik in Germany. The group depicts various children in traditional Germanic attire engaged in diverse activities. Notable figures include a boy playing a violin, a young hunter with binoculars and a rabbit, a schoolboy at a writing desk, a girl perched in a blossoming tree, a boy riding a hobby horse, and a boy in a long coat wearing spectacles and holding a doll. Several other single figures and groupings of two children are included. Each figurine is crafted from porcelain with a polychrome hand-painted finish and a characteristic soft, matte glaze. No factory backstamps or model numbers are visible in the photographs as the bases are not shown. While consistent with Goebel production, definitive attribution is based on stylistic characteristics.
