This pair of traditional youth-sized Alpine Lederhosen is constructed from grey suede leather with dark green grained leather accents and piping. The garment features a characteristic Latz bib-style front flap, secured by two vertical metal zippers and concealed interior plastic buttons. Decorative elements include two dark green leather oak leaf appliqués on the front, one of which serves as a decorative welt for a pocket. A traditional Messer-Tasche or knife pocket is located on the right thigh. The shorts include side-lacing at the leg hems and a rear lace-up Zwickel gusset at the waistband for size adjustment. The waistband and pockets are partially lined with cream-coloured cotton twill. The interior lining bears a purple ink stamp for the maker Jos. Birn Niessen/Sa and includes the size 152. The metal zipper pulls feature an EWA shield-shaped logo.
