Another Great Auction
A vintage travelling spirit set comprising a trio of rectangular clear glass bottles contained within a fitted black leather cylindrical case. Each bottle is of molded construction with rounded shoulders and is fitted with a polished silver-toned metal screw-top cap. The bottles retain their original handwritten paper labels identifying the intended contents as Rum Woods 100%, Brandy Remy Martin, and Whiskey J&B Rare. The leather case features a zip-top closure and a fixed leather carrying strap with a red-finished underside. The front of the case is decorated with a silver-toned printed geometric quatrefoil emblem. The bottles contain residual amber-coloured liquids. Similar examples are often attributed to English manufacture from the mid-20th century.
