This set of fifteen fine bone china items is manufactured by Paragon, England, in the Country Lane pattern. The pattern features transfer-printed wildflower motifs including pink, yellow, and purple blossoms with green foliage. The pieces are finished with hand-applied gilt rims and gilded accents to the handles and feet. The collection comprises a tall lidded pot, a cream jug, an open sugar bowl, and a selection of cups and saucers. The bases are marked with a brown transfer-printed backstamp featuring the Royal Coat of Arms and text: BY APPOINTMENT TO HER MAJESTY THE QUEEN CHINA POTTERS, PARAGON, FINE BONE CHINA, MADE IN ENGLAND, and REG’D L/L. The pattern name Country Lane is inscribed in pink cursive script.
