A diverse assortment of decorative bottle stoppers and a wine tool set. The collection includes a rectangular dark wood presentation box with a red satin-lined interior, containing a stainless steel waiter’s friend corkscrew and a chrome-effect ball-topped stopper. Accompanying the set are several standalone stoppers of varied materials and designs. Notable examples include three moulded glass stoppers in green grape-cluster, red flame, and blue ribbed forms; a wooden bee-motif stopper; and hand-painted ceramic figurines depicting a jockey on horseback and a black rooster. The lot also features a sommelier figure and two cast metal stoppers, one with a grape and vine motif and another with a miniature wine bottle attached to a chain and ring. Included is a small black presentation box bearing the mark for A.E. Williams, pewter manufacturers established in 1779.
