A mid-20th-century electric wall clock manufactured by Smiths, specifically from the Sectric range. The clock features a large oval sunburst or starburst case, constructed with multiple layers of radiating textured rays finished in a gilded gold tone. The central circular dial is cream-coloured, protected by a domed cover, and features black Arabic numerals with an outer minute track marked by dots. The hour and minute hands are finished in black with an ornate scroll design. The dial is printed with the manufacturer’s mark SMITHS and the model name SECTRIC below the centre arbor, with MADE IN GREAT BRITAIN positioned at the 6 o’clock mark. The unit is fitted with an external white electrical flex.
