A dark-stained hardwood pedestal featuring an ornate design in the Victorian style, closely resembling the Evenswood Manor series by Design Toscano. The rectangular top has multi-tiered moulded edges. The upper shaft is heavily decorated with scrolling acanthus leaf carvings at the corners and a central panel of incised lattice or basketweave work. The tapering body is further embellished with scrolling foliate mouldings on the corners, descending to a stepped rectangular base that terminates in four large, intricately carved scrolling feet. The piece has a uniform high-gloss polished finish. No maker’s marks or labels are visible. 43″ Tall
