A collection of mid-20th-century British commemorative and souvenir items. The group includes an Automobile Association (AA) member’s car badge, featuring chrome-plated metal wings over a yellow plastic backing, stamped with serial number 6A08144 and the address Fanum House, Coventry Street, London W1. Also present is a 1953 coronation commemorative spirit flask, comprising a glass bottle with a black screw cap, held within a brown ostrich-patterned leather case embossed in gold with the royal cipher E II R and Coronation 1953. A cast brass commemorative bell for the coronation of Queen Elizabeth II features a handle cast in the form of a crown and embossed text to the base reading Queen Elizabeth II 1953. Further items include a Cornish brass luck charm in the form of a key inscribed Joan the Wad, a silver-toned pocket lighter with an engine-turned texture, a small circular magnifying glass in a wire frame, and a circular locket lid or pill box featuring a green and blue enamel Celtic triquetra design.
