Another Great Auction
This lot comprises two vintage educational mineral specimen collections, reference number SM797001, produced by E. J. Arnold of Leeds, England. Each set is housed in a rectangular brown cardboard box with a hinged lid. The interiors are fitted with white plastic twelve-compartment dividers. The collections contain a variety of mineral and rock specimens, including dark grey crystalline rocks, light granitic samples, white crystalline minerals, and sand. The specimens are individually contained within small, clear plastic resealable bags, some of which bear small white circular numbered labels, including numbers 2, 7, and 12. Both lids feature a blue and white printed label stating E. J. ARNOLD, SM797001, Introductory Minerals Collection, and E.J. ARNOLD · LEEDS · ENGLAND. One lid has a small white adhesive label with the handwritten inventory mark V4643. The lot includes an original printed introductory document titled INTRODUCTORY MINERAL COLLECTION SM797001.
