Another Great Auction
This lot comprises three items: a large framed topographical print, a mounted needlework panel, and a modern empty frame. The primary item is a print after a 19th-century architectural watercolour depicting Salts Mill in Saltaire, Yorkshire. The image shows the extensive Victorian textile mill, its prominent campanile-style chimney, and a steam locomotive with figures in the foreground. It is titled in cursive script below the image Salts Mill, Saltaire, Yorkshire. The print is housed in a wide brown mount within a polished wood-effect frame. The second item is a rectangular needlework panel executed in cross-stitch, featuring a floral design of yellow and red blossoms with green leaves, set within a black and white geometric border. This is mounted on a dark green card backing. The third item is a contemporary silver-finished picture frame containing a white window mount and a brown card insert.
