A horizontal needlework panel, executed in cross-stitch on a cream-coloured fabric ground. The composition features four garden birds, including a blue tit and a magpie, perched on branches with red and dark berries. The background includes light-brown stitched silhouettes of birds in flight. The design is attributed to the Janlynn 1992 Songbirds kit (pattern 80-137), originally designed by Stoney Creek. The piece is housed behind glass in a contemporary light wood moulded frame with a dark brown inner slip. Small white adhesive labels are present on the frame and glass.
