A cast iron decorative bust of a female maiden in the French Victorian neoclassical style, consistent with nineteenth-century fireplace ornaments or boot scraper components. The figure is depicted with downcast eyes and wavy hair surmounted by a foliate-style crown. She is shown wearing a beaded necklace and classical drapery. The sculpture is integrally cast onto a tiered rectangular plinth base. The material is confirmed as cast iron. The surface is finished with a dark patina and features gilded highlights on the raised details of the hair, crown, and clothing. No signatures, foundry marks, or inscriptions are visible on the piece.
