Another Great Auction
A pair of early 20th century 15 carat yellow gold double-sided oval cufflinks. Each cufflink is constructed from two oval plates joined by five oval chain links. One plate of each cufflink is decorated with an engraved script monogram, while the paired plate features a fine engine-turned textured pattern. The reverse of the plates bears a full set of British hallmarks, including the maker mark G J H in a rectangular punch, the purity marks 15 and .625 for 15 carat gold, the Chester assay office mark of three wheat sheaves, and a date letter in a shield-shaped punch.
