A two-piece sterling silver christening set comprising a napkin ring and a teaspoon, presented in a fitted period case. The napkin ring features simple reeded borders and is struck with English hallmarks for Birmingham, 1906, including the lion passant for sterling silver and the maker’s mark B & Co for Barker Brothers Ltd. The teaspoon handle is engraved with the initials and date E. G. 18-9-11. The items are contained within an original black leatherette-covered presentation box with a brass clasp, the interior fitted with a cream silk-lined lid and a black velvet-lined base.
