A collection of five British Second World War campaign medals and their original cardboard delivery box. The group comprises three six-pointed bronze campaign stars and two cupro-nickel medals.

The medals include:
The 1939-1945 Star, featuring the royal GRI VI cipher surmounted by a crown within a circular band.
The Pacific Star, of similar six-pointed bronze design, awarded for operational service in the Pacific Theatre between 1941 and 1945.
The Italy Star, of similar six-pointed bronze design, awarded for service in the Italian Campaign.
The Defence Medal (1939-1945), featuring the bare-headed effigy of King George VI on the obverse with the inscription GEORGIVS VI D: G: BR: OMN: REX F: D: IND: IMP:.
The War Medal (1939-1945), featuring the crowned effigy of King George VI on the obverse with the inscription GEORGIVS VI D: G: BR: OMN: REX ET INDIAE IMP:.

The collection is accompanied by its original cardboard mailing box. The lid is hand-inscribed in black ink: MR. A. W. AYRES / 7 ST. MARGARETS RD / BELLE VUE / DONCASTER.
