Another Great Auction
A collection of two antique rectangular gun cases. One case is leather-bound and features two buckled straps and a central brass lock. The interior is lined with red velvet and partitioned for a breakdown firearm, including an internal compartment lid with partial gilt lettering displaying the characters A and R. The second case is of wooden construction with brass corner reinforcements, two brass latches, and a central keyhole. The interior is lined with green baize and retains faint outlines of former partitions. Both cases are characteristic of British manufacture from the late 19th or early 20th century.
