Buyer's Premium:

This collection comprises an assortment of vintage brass fireplace tools and decorative brassware, predominantly of British manufacture. The fire tools include two shovels, one featuring a cast brass head and a reeded globular finial, and another with a dark-stained turned wooden handle. A pair of fireplace tongs is included, designed with shell-form grips and a matching reeded globular finial.

The lot also features two long-handled toasting forks with twisted brass shafts and decorative cast finials. One finial depicts Lincoln Cathedral and is embossed with the inscription Lincoln Cathedral, while the other features a cast figure of a Lincoln Imp. Additional items include a small three-pronged fork with a dark handle, a decorative corkscrew with a cast foliate handle, and a cast brass bottle opener marked Made in England. A circular horse brass is present, featuring a central sunburst motif and embossed with the characters Jarvis Stoke Barton around the perimeter. A small cast figurine of a Lincoln Imp completes the group. The items are constructed from cast and wrought brass, with the shovels and tongs featuring characteristic reeded globular finials.
