A vintage rectangular street sign for CHURCH ROAD, characteristic of mid-century British municipal signage. The sign is constructed from metal, likely pressed aluminium or cast iron, featuring raised serif lettering and a raised perimeter border. The front is finished with a white ground and black lettering. There are six pre-drilled mounting holes positioned at the ends and along the horizontal edges. The reverse side shows the corresponding recessed mirror-image relief of the lettering. No manufacturer marks or foundry stamps are visible on the surfaces.
