Another Great Auction
A collection of vintage miniature promotional booklets titled The Pint Size Guinness Book of Records. These small-format stapled paper booklets were produced for Arthur Guinness Son & Co. (Park Royal) Ltd. by Guinness Superlatives Ltd., dating to circa the 1970s. Originally distributed as pub promotional giveaways, the covers state they were Free with a pint of draught Guinness or a bottle of Guinness. Each booklet features a different humorous cartoon-style illustration on the front cover. Visible examples in this group include No. 11 Foul Play and No. 18 The Gentlemen Please. The booklets contain condensed entries and records from the larger Guinness Book of Records series of the period.
