A group of four professional tailoring fabric sample books from the Belgian textile merchant Scabal. The set comprises four individual volumes titled IMAGE Superfine Merino Wool, PLAINS Special Selection, JACKETINGS Special Selection, and CONDOR Cool Wool. Each volume is bound in navy blue textured boards with a faux-lizard skin finish, featuring gold-tone embossed manufacturer branding and collection titles. A navy and gold twisted cord handle is attached to the top of each book for carrying. The interiors contain numerous fabric swatches including superfine merino and lightweight Cool Wool (approx. 260g) intended for summer suiting. The books feature the Scabal logo of a crowned lion rampant and the tagline A Passion for Cloth. Internal documentation includes range numbers such as 703681-703728 and descriptive text regarding fabric composition and weights. These bunches are typically used by bespoke tailors to present seasonal cloth options to clients.
