A vintage desktop model of a naval signal cannon. The barrel is constructed from cast brass, featuring a reinforced muzzle, multiple reinforce rings along the body, and a rounded cascable at the breech. It is mounted by its trunnions onto a stepped wooden carriage finished in a dark stain. The carriage is fitted with two multi-spoke brass wheels and incorporates a brass turnscrew at the rear for adjusting the barrel elevation. A white lot sticker marked 1009 is affixed to the side of the barrel. No manufacturer markings, stamps, or hallmarks are visible on the brass or wooden components.
