Another Great Auction
This Edwardian sterling silver rocker blotter features a rectangular silver top with a plain polished finish and a central waisted knob handle. The silver is mounted to a traditional curved wooden base covered with a dark leather or felt surface. The side of the silver top is struck with a full set of English hallmarks including the maker mark GORHAM in individual letter punches for the Gorham Manufacturing Co., the lion passant for sterling silver, the anchor for the Birmingham Assay Office, and the gothic lowercase letter f date mark for the year 1905.
