An Art Deco style rectangular wooden serving tray featuring integral handles and a central decorative panel under glass. The panel contains a collage depicting a tropical landscape with silhouetted palm trees, executed with iridescent blue Morpho and varied brown lepidoptera wings. The wooden frame is decorated with a chequered marquetry inlay around the perimeter. Items of this type are widely attributed to Brazilian manufacture from the mid-20th century.
