A large lidded vessel resembling the Dynasty pattern cremation urn, of ovoid form with a multi-stepped domed lid. The body is profusely decorated in the Indian Kutch style, featuring hand-chased scrolling foliate motifs and large floral medallions set against a textured coriander leaf ground. The interior of the vessel and the lid is finished with a gold-wash gilding. The piece is composed of silver-toned white metal. No hallmarks or maker marks are visible on the item.
