Another Great Auction
This lot comprises three open-face pocket watches of mid-20th century origin. The first watch is a Services Army model, featuring a cream dial with bold black Roman numeral hour markers, a rail-track outer minute ring, and a subsidiary seconds dial at the 6 o’clock position. The dial is marked Services Army and Foreign. The second watch is an Ingersoll Triumph model, marked Made in Gt Britain at the base of the dial. It features a cream dial with Arabic numeral hour markers, skeletonised hands, and a subsidiary seconds dial. The third watch is an unsigned military-style pocket watch with a cream dial, featuring a primary 12-hour Arabic numeral track and an inner 24-hour track (13-24). This timepiece includes blue steel spade-style hands and a subsidiary seconds dial at 6 o’clock. All three watches are housed in polished white metal cases, likely chrome or nickel-plated base metal, and operate via manual wind movements.
