Another Great Auction
A group of three sterling silver coins from the United Kingdom, comprising a partial Maundy set dated 1852. The denominations included are a one penny, two pence, and four pence. The one penny and two pence coins display their respective crowned numerals on the reverse within an oak wreath, with the date 1852 divided by the crown. The four pence coin shows the Young Head obverse of Queen Victoria facing left, with the legend VICTORIA D: G: BRITANNIAR: REGINA F: D:. The coins are struck in silver and are presented in a blue vinyl folding wallet with a typed paper label misspelt as MUNDY 1 :2 AND 4 PENCE 1852.
