This 2022 United Kingdom two pound silver proof coin was issued by The Royal Mint to commemorate the life and legacy of Dame Vera Lynn. The coin is struck in .925 sterling silver with the outer ring plated in fine gold. The reverse features a portrait of Dame Vera Lynn with the circular inscription DAME VERA LYNN and the dates 1917 – 2020. The obverse displays the fifth definitive coinage portrait of Queen Elizabeth II by Jody Clark. The edge bears the incuse inscription WE’LL MEET AGAIN. The coin is presented in its original Royal Mint black presentation box accompanied by a certificate of authenticity and a commemorative booklet. The documentation indicates a maximum coin mintage of 4,560 with a limited edition presentation of 3,500.
