A collection of ten vintage small-form containers and advertising items, primarily of early to mid-20th-century British origin. The group includes two lithographed tinplate boxes for Nightingale brand gramophone needles; the lids feature a central illustration of a bird on a branch with text reading Nightingale, Gramophone Needles, Pure Loud Tone, 100, and Use Once Only. One tin displays a green and gold patterned side. The lot contains two original paper-wrapped snuff packets: a green packet for J. & H. Wilson Ltd Top Mill No 1 Snuff, and a red packet for S. J. Sharrow Mills Sharrow Jockey Club Snuff, marked Wilsons & Co (Sharrow) Sheffield and Famous For Over 200 Years. Additional items include a silver-tone oval metal box with a ribbed texture to the lid, a rectangular hinged metal box with a weathered finish, a square-form brown container with a grid-patterned lid possibly made of bakelite, two dark brown rectangular cases or boxes, and a rectangular container with a pale green body and black ends made from an early plastic or composite material.
