A collection of British numismatic items and a philatelic numismatic cover. The group includes a Royal Mail Classic Locomotives – 200 years of British Steam Engines commemorative cover, numbered 13047 and dated 2004, containing stamps and a central commemorative coin. Also included are two Coinage of Great Britain display sets; one in a red card dated 1967 containing half crown, florin, sixpence, threepence, penny, and halfpenny denominations; the other in a blue card featuring a 1965 Churchill crown alongside pre-decimal denominations including English and Scottish shillings. The collection further contains a red display card titled Complete Set of Farthings Struck During the Reign of Queen Elizabeth II with coins dated 1953, 1954, 1955, and 1956, and a blue vinyl wallet containing Britain’s First Decimal Coins. Metal compositions across the collection include cupro-nickel, bronze, and nickel-brass.
