A mid-century British extending dining table manufactured by Gordon Russell of Broadway. The rectangular top is finished in highly figured ribbon grain veneers, likely sapele or mahogany, featuring a central seam to accommodate extension. The table is supported by a solid hardwood frame with four square-section tapered legs. A metal manufacturer’s plaque is fixed to the underside of the frame and is inscribed GORDON RUSSELL LIMITED BROADWAY WORCS, accompanied by the Russell of Broadway circular logo.
