A contemporary photographic print depicting the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight Avro Lancaster B.I, serial number PA474, in flight over the White Cliffs of Beachy Head, East Sussex. The aircraft is captured in its 2011 camouflage scheme. The print bears a signature in the lower right-hand corner reading J. Dorey. The print is mounted within a modern acrylic sandwich style frame, secured at the corners with four chrome-finished metal stand-off bolts. Centrally printed on the lower border of the acrylic frame is the caption Avro Lancaster PA 474 over Beachy Head Autumn 2011 in white sans-serif type. The reverse of the frame is fitted with a spring-tensioned hanging wire. The item is accompanied by a cardboard shipping box featuring a printed adhesive label for The Bomber Command Memorial, which includes the Royal Air Force roundel and the logo for the Royal Air Force Benevolent Fund. This item was produced as a commemorative piece to support the establishment of the Bomber Command Memorial in Green Park, London.
