A vintage tripod stool, often referred to as a milking or workshop stool, constructed from a utility hardwood such as beech. The item features a thick circular wooden seat supported by three splayed cylindrical legs. The legs are reinforced with a central cross-stretcher assembly and are secured into the underside of the seat using tenon joints. The stool is finished in a white paint that has been heavily distressed through age and use. No maker marks, stamps, or labels are present on the visible surfaces of the object.
