A mid-20th-century Spanish earthenware circular dish produced by the Puigdemont pottery in La Bisbal d’Emporda, Catalonia. The dish features a hand-painted scene on a cream ground, depicting a mallard duck diving among stylized reeds and water. The decoration is executed in a rustic, folk-art style using a palette of green, brown, yellow, and blue. The reverse is signed Puigdemont in brown script with an additional letter M above. The piece is constructed from a red terracotta body with a lead or tin-based glaze covering most of the surface except for the foot rim.
