A set of colour prints after original watercolours by the Sheffield artists George Cunningham (1924-1996) and Terry Gorman, depicting nostalgic mid-20th-century street scenes of the city. The works include a bustling view of Sheffield Cathedral and a snowy evening at Fargate by Cunningham, and street scenes featuring Wards Fine Malt Ales and Benefit Footwear by Gorman. Each print bears a signature in the lower right corner, with some examples dated ’76 and ’91. They are uniformly presented under forest green mounts with gilt-effect bevelled edges, housed in dark-stained wooden frames with gold-toned inner slips.
Dimensions: 13” x 11”.
