An assortment of silver-plated, white metal, and glass tablewares. The collection includes approximately twenty napkin rings in various styles, featuring engine-turned patterns, pierced floral designs, and plain polished finishes. Included is a set of five large circular coasters with embossed and chased floral, foliate, and scrollwork decoration, along with a group of smaller circular silver-plated coasters in a wire-frame stand and a circular glass coaster with a silver-plated rim. Glassware items comprise a tall beaker with cut diamond and star-burst patterns, a cylindrical ribbed liner, two cobalt blue glass liners, and a small clear glass dish with a sunburst-patterned base. Holloware and condiments include a tall baluster-form salt or pepper shaker bearing the mark MAPPIN for Mappin and Webb, a smaller similarly shaped shaker, a cream jug, and several pierced metal baskets and frames. Miscellaneous items consist of a silvered-metal and blue world time converter dial, a brass-toned harp-shaped ornament, and a small metal matchbox cover. Many items show evidence of hallmarks or maker’s marks, including the mark of Mappin and Webb on the base of the tallest shaker.
