A collection of volumes comprising various genres including children’s literature, military history, and travel guides. Notable works by Arthur Ransome are present, including The Picts and the Martyrs published by Jonathan Cape, and Vintage editions of Peter Duck and Swallows and Amazons. The collection features several Bradshaw’s guides, such as the Handbook 1863 in a brown leather-effect binding, Canals and Navigable Rivers of England and Wales in teal cloth with gilt-stamped spine, and a Collins reprint of the Continental Railway Guide.
