A German brass-cased mantel clock of four-glass column construction. The case features a polished brass-finished metal frame with four decorative fluted columns and five glass panels, including a glass top. The rear glass panel is hinged to allow access to the movement. The circular white dial is set with black Roman numeral hour markers and a minute track, complemented by black filigree hour and minute hands. The mechanical eight-day, spring-driven movement incorporates a visible bell strike mechanism. The movement backplate is stamped with the Junghans trademark consisting of an eight-pointed star containing the letter J, positioned between the words MARKE and FABRIK, alongside the stamped number 2714. The pendulum features a circular decorative disk depicting the crossed arrows logo of the Hamburg-Amerikanische Uhrenfabrik (H.A.C.).
