An Edwardian sterling silver pendant necklace featuring a circular medallic pendant suspended from a long oval link chain. The obverse of the pendant displays a relief architectural depiction of Lees Hall in Sheffield, inscribed with the text LEES HALL. The reverse of the pendant is plain and carries a comprehensive set of British hallmarks. These include the maker’s mark W.H.H for William Hair Haseler, the lion passant for sterling silver, the anchor for the Birmingham Assay Office, and the lowercase date letter e corresponding to the year 1904. A separate shield-shaped mark containing the letters JS, likely for the silversmith Joseph Smith and Son, is positioned below the main hallmark sequence. The chain is constructed of elongated oval links.
