A lidded storage case of oval form with a flat rear edge, featuring a decoupage-style lid decorated with a portrait of Marilyn Monroe. The design incorporates multi-coloured washes, cursive script, and travel-related motifs including a purple postage stamp and a circular postmark. This postmark contains the legible characters IMMIGRATION, 29 JUN 1991, DEPARTED, AUSTRAILIA, and BRISBANE AIRPORT. Further characters in the bottom right corner include GIRLS and INSTANT. The box is constructed from heavy board with a printed paper covering, a metal latch, and a carry handle. Accompanying the box are two small monochrome prints, possibly book illustrations. One print depicts a maritime scene with sailing ships and rowing boats in a harbour, while the other features a historical architectural scene with a large building and a dense crowd of figures. Both are presented in black-painted wooden or composite frames with wide off-white mounts behind glass.
