This collection consists of a group of utilitarian stoneware and earthenware storage vessels, likely of British origin, dating from the late 19th to the mid-20th century. The assembly features various forms, including cylindrical and slightly waisted storage jars and crocks of varying sizes, alongside one two-tone glazed bottle with a dark brown shoulder over a cream-toned body. The pieces exhibit a range of glazes, including traditional salt-glaze, cream-toned Bristol-type glazes, and deep honey-to-chocolate brown slip glazes. One notable jar is finished in a distinctive orange-terracotta tone with dark speckling. Included in the group is a cream-glazed jar featuring two small loop handles at the shoulder, which bears an impressed mark on the lower body reading REGISTERED NO 819434. This British Design Registration number corresponds to approximately 1937. The remaining items in the assortment appear to be unmarked.
